This stunning Pocket Spring Mattress is Manufactured in the UK, it is hand tufted and Hand Side Stitched which adds strength to the Mattress edges with a stylish and luxurious feel. This Mattress is covered in 100% Cotton with generous fillings which gives a superb level of comfort. The striking fabric cover has been selected to help increase airflow through the Mattress and regulate sleeping temperature for a deeper, more restful sleep. There are turning handles on each side of the Mattress for easy care brass vents will ensure the Mattress stays fresh and healthy for many years. Our extra supportive and Medium/Firm feeling pocketed spring system has been selected as a foundation for this bed, virtually eliminating roll together. A pocket spring mattress has springs that work independently, and provide support and cushioning to both you and your partner, whilst preventing you from rolling together and disturbing your sleep. The construction of a pocket spring mattress houses individual springs that are cushioned in their own pocket of material and filling. These springs are vertically positioned and distributed throughout the inside of the mattress, pushing against the sleeper’s body weight. Our Pillow top mattress construction involves an extra layer of upholstery being stitched into one side of the surface of the mattress. The pillow top will add an approximate 70mm to the height of the mattress. The tufted finish involves passing tapes through the mattress at different intervals in order to prevent fillings from becoming dislodged and is integral to the construction of a pocket sprung mattress as this keeps the springs firmly in place. Tufting is the strongest method of securing fillings in a mattress and will generally result in a firmer feel. The 100% natural Cotton that us used to cover the mattress is a hypo-allergenic fibre that feels velvety soft against your skin. It is very strong, durable and highly breathable, drawing moisture away from the body for a comfortable, fresh and cool night’s sleep.
